Animal Ark Used Book Sale has begun

2/28 We are $78.50 dollars away from our goal. Every book purchased helps us to reach our goal of $100. 
2/29 We were $78.50 and today....we made exactly $78.50. Bizarre, but we'll take it!  Now we are working on Animal #2! 

New Email Addresses

BIOGRAPHY BOOK PROJECTS DUE FRIDAY, MARCH 2!

We will make a schedule for when your child is presenting their project so you will know when to send in their costume and/or come in to watch their presentation.

We are learning about Fractions in Math.

                               Phases of the Moon
We're learning about phases of the moon this week. Step outside with your student some evening so they can check it out first hand.

 Getting Ready for Third Grade

         We've had a discussion with the students about how the grading system will be changing for them in 3rd grade. They will be getting letter grades to coincide with the percentages (A,B,C,D,F). Some of their graded assignments will be coming home with the percentage or letter grades to help make the transition easier for them. Please help us explain this process in hopes that by the end of this school year they will be ready for the next school year.  Thanks for your help!
