Our class Valentine's Day Party will be on 
Thursday,February 14th at 1:45ish.  
If you'd like to help by sending in a snack or treat for all to share at the party, please email us.  We usually do a fruit and veggie plate with a few other goodies. We are flexible.

Math Minute

Doubles (fact) and Doubles (fact) plus 1

     4       4

 + 4    + 5

                                                8       9

                 When you double a number, you add the number to

                                  itself.  6 + 6,  8 + 8,  10 + 10

  

                            So, if you know the fact   4 + 4 = 8, 

                             then it's easy to add---> 4 + 5 = 9...
                            Double the smaller number and add 1
